Characterization of Hank the cowdog #3

Author: John R. Erickson
Hank is a fearless and brave dog. He is the Head of Ranch Security. His buddy Drover is a very scared dog when Hank is not near him.
Hank prefers rather steaks than dry dog food and can tell when he is wanted or not. He can't stand insolent cats, especially Loper.
On pages 55-62 John Erickson describes Hank's family.
He has a sister named Maggie. Maggie has got four pups; two girls, Barbara and April and two boys, Roscoe and Spot. Maggie, a town dog, thinks that Hank smells ranchy.
When Hank was young he was named Henry . On page 57 John said that Hank never exaggerates the facts and he is not easily fooled.

Emma, characterizing an old friend is enjoyable to read. I liked the part where Maggie thinks Hank smells 'ranchy', and also the part where we see a little bit of Hank's background family.

You've got good information here. Maybe if you organized it a little cleaner the posting would be easier to read. Still, you've got the idea.
